What you will need...
-:- Pre-made pizza bases or make the dough yourself.
-:- Toppings. Use a take-away pizza menu as a guide.
-:- Tomato base (puree, sauce or real tomatoes).
-:- Pizza stone (or unglazed tile) for the BBQ or oven.
Optional extras: Large spatula to move the cooked pizza to a plate. Pizza cutter (wheel).
Turn on the BBQ or oven and heat up the cooking stone. Place the bases and ingredients on a table in small bowls for your guests to choose from and build their pizza's. Best to call the guests up to make their pizza's one or two at a time to avoid crowding. Alternately, one person could make the pizza's, with guests ordering ingredients as they wish.
Once made, start cooking. Have someone constantly watching the cooking of each pizza. Pizzas with lots of toppings should be cooked around 2000C for 20 to 25 minutes. A simple pizza like cheese and ham can be cooked to perfection on 2300C for 10 to 12 minutes. Just keep an eye on it And hey presto, you have a freshly made, delicious hot pizza.
